1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or using our roofing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
2. Services
RoofCrew provides professional roofing services including but not limited to:
- Alwitra flat roofing systems
- EPDM rubber roofing
- Lead works and traditional roofing
- Slate and tile installation
- Roof repairs and maintenance
- Roof inspections and certifications
3. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on:
- Changes in the scope of work
- Unforeseen structural issues discovered during work
- Changes in material costs
- Additional work requested by the customer
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Deposit: 25% upon acceptance of quotation
- Progress payment: 50% at project midpoint
- Final payment: 25% upon completion
- Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date
5. Warranties and Guarantees
We provide the following warranties on our work:
- Workmanship warranty: 10 years
- Material warranties: As per manufacturer specifications
- Emergency repair warranty: 12 months
Warranties are void if:
- Damage is caused by extreme weather events (Act of God)
- Unauthorized modifications are made
- Regular maintenance is not performed
- Payment obligations are not met
6. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- Provide safe access to the work area
- Remove or protect valuable items near the work area
- Ensure pets and children are kept away from the work area
- Obtain necessary permits if required
- Make timely payments as agreed
7. Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled subject to the following terms:
- More than 7 days before scheduled start: Full refund of deposit
- 3-7 days before start: 50% of deposit retained
- Less than 3 days before start: Full deposit retained
- After work has commenced: No refund, payment for completed work required
8. Liability Limitations
Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits or business interruption
- Damage to property not directly related to our work
- Issues arising from pre-existing conditions not disclosed
9. Insurance
RoofCrew maintains comprehensive insurance including:
- Public liability insurance: £5 million
- Employers liability insurance: £10 million
- Professional indemnity insurance
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through:
- First: Direct negotiation between parties
- Second: Mediation through an agreed mediator
- Finally: Legal proceedings in UK courts
11. Health and Safety
We comply with all relevant health and safety regulations including:
- HSE guidelines for working at height
- COSHH regulations for hazardous materials
- Provision of appropriate PPE to all workers
- Regular safety training and assessments
12. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of RoofCrew and protected by copyright laws.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
